System Installations
Quality
Alarms takes tremendous pride in the quality of our installations.
While some of our competitors focus on installing as many
systems as they can in the shortest time possible, we approach
each installation with great care and pride. Our installers
have a wealth of experience from the smallest residential
systems to large commercial and industrial installations.
Our
goal is to create customers for life. One of the best ways
to do this is to provide systems that will require as little
maintenance and repair as possible. We select high quality
components and use installation methods designed to keep your
system trouble free.
Hard wired or Wireless Sensors?
A hardwired sensor, such as a motion sensor or door contact,
uses a small cable (similar to a telephone or network cable)
to supply power to the sensor and to transmit alarm signals
back to the alarm panel. A wireless sensor uses a small battery
to supply power to the sensor and a radio frequency transmitter
to transmit alarm signals back to the alarm panel.
More
and more security companies are choosing to install wireless
alarm systems because they are quick and easy to install,
and can be put in by less experienced installers. But wireless
systems require more maintenance and cost more to repair than
hardwired systems. For these reasons we only use wireless
devices when it is impractical to get a wire to the location.
