Elevator Emergency Phones

The building code now requires that all elevator cabs be provided with emergency phones (although in some cases a simple panic button but is acceptable). The emergency phone is usually a vandal resistant call box, that includes a microphone and speaker for hands free communication, and a single button that automatically calls the monitoring station when it is pressed.

Quality Alarms has a dedicated elevator emergency phone line with caller ID that allows us to speak with the person needing help and to automatically identify which building they are in. Once they have described the problem we will dispatch the appropriate responders such as building managers, elevator mechanics, or ambulance service.

As with all of our monitoring services the cost is just $24.95 per month and you will not be required to sign a long term monitoring contract. If you don’t already have a call box installed in your elevator we can co-ordinate with your elevator company to have the required devices installed.

Great Canadian Dollar Store

When I opened my fifth store at Admirals walk, I decided to give Quality Alarms the opportunity to monitor the alarm system. Over the course of the next year, I had them switch my other four locations to their monitoring station and have received friendly personal service with significant financial savings.
